The Holy Word for Morning Revival

This week we will start week 2 of Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land for the Building Up of the Church as the Body of Christ, for the Reality and the Manifestation of the Kingdom, and for the Bride to Make Herself Ready for the Lord's Coming: "Inheriting the All-inclusive Christ as the Good Land by Taking Heed to His Words of Advice and Warnings and by Receiving His Renewed Training to Have Our Inner Man Renewed Day by Day."


The Holy Word for Morning Revival is intended as an aid to believers in developing a daily time of morning revival with the Lord in His word. This one provides a limited review of the semiannual training held December 25-30, 2023, in Anaheim, California.

As a practical reminder to the saints, the space provided at the end of each week is for composing a short prophecy. This prophecy can be composed by considering all of our daily notes, the "harvest" of our inspirations during the week, and preparing a main point with some sub-points to be spoken in the church meetings for the organic building up of the Body of Christ.


Ministry Meeting

The general subject for this term is The Crucial Points of the Truth in Paul's Epistles—2 Corinthians. Tonight we will watch message 7, "The New Testament Ministry—the Ministry of the Spirit, the Ministry of Righteousness, and the Ministry of Reconciliation to Bring Us into a New Revival." Community Visitation Team (Tuesday)

YP Burdened Ones Prayer Time (Tuesday)

All saints who are burdened for our young people are welcome to join our weekly Tuesday night prayer time from 8:30–9:00 ᴘ.ᴍ. Please reach out to Matthew Nichols for the Zoom link.


Prayer Meeting (Wednesday)

We will have a corporate prayer meeting at District Two on Wednesday at 7:30 ᴘ.ᴍ. Please see the church calendar for the locations and prayer burdens.


Lord's Table and Prophesying Meeting (Lord's Day)

The Lord's Day meetings start at 10 ᴀ.ᴍ. Please see the church calendar for the locations and more information.


 

Church Texting Service

The church in Atlanta has an updated texting service to send general announcements and reminders to the saints. If you would like to enroll in the new service, you may text the word "updates" to (770) 562-7187 and follow the directions that are texted back to you. You may also sign up for district-specific announcements using this same means.


500 Life-Studies

Starting January 8, 2024, we will begin reading through the Life-study of John. We encourage all the saints to participate by reading two messages a week. For more information, please see below.

 

Fifth & Sixth Grade Conference

The Fifth and Sixth Grade Conference will be held from May 3–5, 2024, in Athens, GA.


All-Districts Lord's Day Meetings

We will have a special All-Districts meeting on May 19 for the baptisms of our 5th and 6th graders following their conference the weekend prior. The all-districts Lord's Day meeting will be at the meeting place of District Four: 5175 S Royal Atlanta Dr., Tucker, GA 30084. 


International Memorial Day Blending Conference

Subject: The Christian Life

Summer School of Truth

The 2024 Georgia and Knoxville (Summer School of Truth will be held at Wafloy Retreat Center in Gatlinburg, TN from Thursday, June 20th to Lord’s day, June 23rd. Activities will consist of group singing, reading and listening to the word of God, group projects, team sports, and corporate meals. The purpose of the Summer School of Truth is to minister the divine truths to nourish the young people with the goal of cultivating their personal experience and enjoyment of the Lord. Our prayer and earnest hope is that their faith in the Lord and love for Him would grow and develop to produce them as the Lord’s genuine testimony today. Bible Camp

July Semiannual Training

The July Semiannual Training will be from Monday, July 1, 2024, to July 6, 2024. The Live Training Registration Deadline is April 28, 2024. There is no late registration after the due date. Please register via https://www.churchinatlanta.org/post/july-2024-semiannual-training


Bible Distribution during the 2024 Paris Olympics

The Olympics will be returning to Europe in 2024 and will be hosted in Paris, France. To take advantage of this opportunity arranged by the Lord for millions of Europeans to be gathered in one location, Bibles for Europe and Amana Trust are again preparing to distribute free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version during the Torch Relay and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We would like to encourage all the saints to open to the Lord as to how we could participate in this next milestone in the Lord’s move in Europe. TRUTH PURSUIT

500 Life-Studies

The Life-study of the Bible is a book-by-book exposition of the entire Bible from the perspective of God’s New Testament economy while ministering spiritual life supply. We encourage all the saints to develop a habit of reading the Life-studies for your spiritual nourishment and growth in Christ. To help the saints, we suggest reading two messages a week according to the following sequential reading: Matthew (72 messages), John (51), Romans (69), Galatians (46), Ephesians (97), Philippians (62), Colossians (65), and Revelation (68), totaling 530 messages.

Starting January 8, 2024, we will start reading the Life-study of John. Please watch the video below for additional information. Study questions are available for anyone who desires to use them.


Yearly New Testament Reading

To help the saints read through the New Testament once a year, we have prepared a reading schedule on Bible Challenges: Church in Atlanta - 2023 New Testament Reading 2023. A new schedule will start soon.

This plan will read through the entire New Testament in one year's time. The plan has one chapter daily from Monday through Saturday and no readings on Lord's day. Please use that time to consider your reading and/or catch up. The Bible (Recovery Version) without footnotes is also available for free on text.recoveryversion.bible
