Prayer Burdens, Week of August 1

For the prayer meeting, we suggest taking the following verses from HWMR of Knowing the Truth, Being Absolute for the Truth, and Proclaiming the Truth in the Present Evil Age John 8:12 Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way and the reality and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

Fall Term of the FTT-XB (08/08) and FTTL (08/16)

Please pray for the Lord’s blessing on this upcoming term of full-time training in Boston and London. May the Lord continue to use these trainings to raise up a group of young overcomers who will be obedient to the heavenly vision and will be one with Him for His final move to build up His Body and prepare His bride for His return.

Migration of Burdened Saints to Six Designated European Cities

Please continue to pray that many saints would be opened and burdened to respond to the Lord's calling to migrate to the six designated European cities—Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Rome, and Zurich.

Atlanta Campus work

Pray that Lord would impart His wisdom to the full-time team in their transition from the summer semester to the fall semester. Particularly that:

1. The Lord would lead us in our ongoing care of our returning students and the students we met this summer, as well as lead us to the sons of peace and His loving seekers in the fall.

2. The Lord would build the students into the day-to-day, house-to-house church life and gain them for the accomplishment of His purpose to build-up His Body on the earth today.

2021 National College Training

Over 1191 college students registered from all over North America and hear the call to rise up and build God’s house. The burden for this training, which came mainly from the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Haggai, was to be stirred up in our spirit for the recovery of the building of God’s house. Throughout the week we had times of sweet fellowship and overflow in small groups and prophesying times in which all the students had the opportunity to share their portion and enjoyment of Christ. Please pray that the word spoken during the College Training will continue to operate in all the college students and that there would be a response within to rise up to meet God's need.

Gospel to All the Nations

There has been a recent burden regarding the constitution of the truth. Pray that the believers could come to the full knowledge of the truth by being one with the Lord to learn the truth, apply the truth, speak the truth, and propagate the truth.

For the prayer meeting, we suggest taking the following verses from HWMR of Knowing the Truth, Being Absolute for the Truth, and Proclaiming the Truth in the Present Evil Age Week 1 Day 6 Eph. 6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

European Young People's Conference (July 26 — August 15)

The general subject of the conference is Patterns of Living an Overcoming Life. The conference this year will be held regionally. For the UK, it will be held at Woodland Camp, starting with the juniors in two weeks and the UK seniors and most of the other countries the following week. Please pray for the Lord’s blessing on the YP conferences in Europe, and especially in this dark age, the Lord would gain a group of young people who will be one with Him to consummate His eternal economy by building up His organic Body for His coming back. No shepherding can be prevailing if we do not have a love for people, an interest in them, a burden for them, and adequate prayer. Love, interest, burden, and prayer are the essential, basic elements of proper shepherding. Most of us were born with no interest in people. We do not like people, and we do not wish to be bothered by them, invited by them, or visited by them. We would rather live on top of a mountain. This is our natural tendency. However, if we keep this kind of disposition, we will be finished with the building. We need to love the new ones as the Lord loves them, be interested in them, and take care of them. Then we must have a burden for them and adequate prayer. (CWWL, 1973-1974, vol. 2, “The Normal Way of Fruit-bearing and Shepherding for the Building Up of the Church,” pp. 626-627) Please pray that we would have a love for people, an interest in them, a burden for them, and adequate prayer for them. May we even practice writing down their names, praying for their spiritual welfare constantly, call them regularly, and establishing them in the church life. Please continue to pray that the spoken word would perfect the saints in the truth, life, gospel, and service unto the work of the ministry and unto the building up of the Body of Christ. Distribution of the Recovery Version in Israel

Please pray for those who have received Recovery Versions in Israel over the past few months, that they would be poor in spirit and hungry for the unsearchable riches of Christ in His word. Also, pray for the long-term shepherding of these seeking ones that many of them could eventually be reaped for the testimony of Jesus.
